Jan 07, 2016  It has a Tasco scope (3-9 x 40) on it. I looked up on the Remington site and see that this model was made between 1960 and 1980. I sent them a message inquiring about the date when this particular one was made, but I'll have to wait for someone to get back to me. The condition appears to be in excellent shape (I think it was a safe queen).

A 742 chambered in 30-06 was used by the sniper in the Action-Thriller Two-Minute Warning.
